Very friendly, great catfish & fried chicken, great place for LENT. More parking at the bank in the evening and late afternoon, and is less than a block away from the newly opened skate park. A great home town place . Not alot of atmosphere, but that is typical for Taylor & the older buildings that are being repurposed & is fine with me.

First time here. Our meals were delicious. Our server was "Grace"-ful and very helpful. This is a great locally owned place to eat and to enjoy time with family and friends.

My girlfriend and I went for the first time today on New Year's Eve, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was super helpful and courteous, there wasn't that much of a wait, and the food was fantastic!

My girlfriend and I agreed that we would definitely come back in the future.

Hands down a true gem in Taylor! Excellent home cooked food, you can tell was made with love! As the name says this is true "Southern Hospitality! Family owned and so welcoming! A must try!!! This was my first visit and you can bet I will be back!!!

My first visit here was during the big Taylor car show and this cozy place was really busy and unfortunately short-handed that day. That didn't affect the friendly service and the employees there seemed to go out of their way to make sure their customers were attended to. They certainly live up to the "hospitality" part of their name. Oh, and the fried chicken, catfish and sides were delicious! Highly recommended for some of the friendliest service I've ever experienced and great food.
