    07/16/23 UPDATE *from 3 to 5 starts ☆☆☆☆☆
I ordered takeout today. We got pupusas, and they were sooo good! The tomatoe sauce is great!. Its so rich and chunky and just perfect! The cabbage is so good, too. We loved them. We'll be back!

I was very excited to try this new restaurant in town. My husband and I both LOVE pupusas, so we were very excited to try them.
The pupusas were ok, not as good as I had hoped. At first, we only got pupusas with a little cabbage. We were wondering if they were going to bring us the tomato sauce, which is usually part of the dish. I wanted to ask about it, but the guy serving the food wasn't coming to our table or near it for me to ask. We almost finished our drinks before the food was served, so when we were about halfway done eating, we were out of drinks for a long time. And the guy didn't come to check on us. Finally, I was able to flag him to come over and ask for more drinks and more cabbage and asked about the tomato sauce. He apologized about not bringing the tomatoe sauce from the beginning and brought us a bottle of what it seemed to be "tomatoes sauce," BUT it was not close to being or tasting like a tomatoes sauce. It was very greasy and odd consistency.
The highlight of the meal was the Tamarindo drink.
We got chicken nuggets for the kids, and we think that the prices for the kids' meals are too high for what they were.
I understand the restaurant is just opening, but the service needs to improve so much more. Be attentive to customers and check on their tables. We hope to be back on another occasion and hopefully see some improvement.

Great choice tonight. First the place is extremely clean inside, the service was excellent and the food fresh and yummy. The pupusas are huge and we couldn’t even finish everything we ordered. Loved the cream warm beans and cheese they brought out to dip chips in. Will definitely be coming back.

If you have never had this kind of food before, you are missing out. Very authentic 👌 👏 ✨️ 🙌 ☺️ ❤️. Do wish it had some spice, I wanted it to be spicy. I am happy we have new place here in Taylor. Just a heads-up they do change for water. $2.00 so might as well get a softdrink.

I was in town visiting and was walking downtown when I found this place. I ordered 4 pupusas to go (1- cheese, 1- bean and cheese, 1- revuelta, 1- loroco and cheese) and a tamarind drink.

My favorite were the cheese and the revuelta. The masa was undercooked but because I was home I threw it in a pan and finished cooking it. The curtido and salsa made it great.

The loroco was new to me. It was a little bit in the sour side for me but edible with the curtido and salsa. Not something I would try again.

    Overall the food was good.

My mom is Salvadoran, so we were excited to have a Salvadoran restaurant in town. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the popusas, especially the chicharrón one. I did love the freshly made agua de jaimaica. We decided to give it another shot, to see maybe since they are barely opening... they are trying to figure things out. So we went again with my parents. They said it was ok. My mom was disappointed with her popusa as well. I decided to try the pastelito plate. They were better than the popusas. The only thing was the casamiento rice(rice mix with beans) was very salty. The Service lacks for sure at night time, both times we come. They do serve chips and bean dip. Chips can be better, but from the looks of it, they are homemade thick tortilla chips. So they are super crispy and hard. Which we honestly don't like they are super thick! They also sell sweet bread. Kiddos like it. It's not made there... they buy it. I honestly forgot from where.
