Texas Bay Seafood and Steak In TAYLOR,TX

Service was prompt. Food is good. Had the catfish, my sister had grilled flounder. We are more than happy. The grilled vegetables tasted fresh. Yum yum.

Texas Bay Seafood is always GREAT. Service is wonderful and the food is 5 stars rating. I have eaten in many seafood restaurants on the coast and many others. They rank in the top two in the State!!!

My wife and I decided to start going to Taylor more often and possibly find few places to make a regular spot as an alternative to Georgetown's constantly growing crowds. Having spotted this seafood venue just off the main beat, I suggested we try them out. We arrived at about 6:30 on a Saturday and parking was close and easy. We walked in and were quickly acknowledged and directed to sit where we liked. Plenty of booths and tables were available, but there was a comfortable buzz of customers already there. Our booth was clean and comfortable. Our waitress was quick to take our drink order. The menu has a lot to choose from, with several combos and a diverse selection. Our food came out fast as well. The one, and probably only "negative", thing I can say is that we thought the breading on the shrimp and catfish was a little bland. Outside of this small detail we really liked our meal. The price to portion ratio is great. If I had any recommendation it would be to either add some spices or offer a spicier option to the regular breading on the shrimp and fish. We will more than likely be returning to eat here.

I absolutely love this place! Fresh seafood fried to perfection and at an incredible price!? Sign me up! My brother lives in Thorndale and has taken me here for years I've always enjoyed this restaurant in spite of the slow service, but today, I met Michelle for the first time and let me tell you , she is the BEST server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Friendly, attentive, and intuitive, Texas bay is so lucky to have Michelle! This is a great place with wonderful prices and delicious food, but having a quality person like the amazing Michelle truly sets this place in a Taylor TX league of its own!
