The restaurant is nice but food needs improvement. Flautas, I would recommend. Whatever you do, don't try the Tamales there, not home maid.
This was my first visit but it will not be my last. Was very impressed with the service and delicious food. Everyone at my table was satisfied. I don't know what the white dip is that comes with the chips but everyone should try it.
Solid lunch plate options till 3. Their creamy jalapeño salsa is out of this world. Large menu, but everything I've had has been delicious. Great margaritas and Mexican Martinis! Catch them for their Happy Hour drink specials.
The food is Tex-Mex, not really authentic. To start of the chips and salsa come with red chips salsa and what's seems like ranch-jalapeño dip (nobody in our table was a fan of it). I had the "caldo de mariscos" (seafood soup) it was decent, everyone else was not very impressed with the food. They didn't seem to have tortas or tacos from other meats like cabeza, barbacoa, tripe, tongue or similar meats. The waiters were young and inexperienced, seems like we had to keep asking for things instead of being asked if we needed anything, and it also seems like they need to hire more waiters.
I love the food here. Most are really friendly. But then there is Carlos, the guy that brings the chips and salsa. He is always smiling and very friendly. He refills our drinks and always checks on us. He is always happy and acts to enjoy his job and serving people. He is the reason we keep coming back!
