Everything here Is really good. Best barbecue I have had in a while. Great family owned restaurant. Definitely worth the drive out to Taylor.

The pulled-pork sandwich had a great flavor with the right amount of char/fat/meat combination. The sausage was a bit on the dry side. The only thing disappointing about the beans was the quantity of the side dish. Nice texture and flavor on the brisket, especially the pieces that weren't totally lean. Tried this new BBQ spot for the first time today. The brisket was spot on tender and full or flavor from smoke and a balanced seasoning. The regular sausage was a little spicy (likely from black pepper) but was tasty. The rice was my favorite side, and taste like it came from an abuelita's kitchen. The potato salad was good too. To top all that off was banana pudding as good as you would find at a family reunion or church pot luck. The staff was friendly and the prices are in line with what you will find at reputable BBQ joints. This will likely be a regular spot for us since we're local to the area.
