“Alright, i'm just gonna say it, i'm jack wagon when it comes to judging Brisket. I grew up spoiled by amazing BBQ in Lockhart Texas. I haven't been fond of some of the brisket I've tasted outside of Lockhart. That being said, this is some good stuff. The brisket was juicy and not dried out. Seasoned really well but not over spiced. Loved the burnt ends.He lets the meat and smoke speak for itself. His BBQ Sauce is pretty good. While I never eat BBQ sauce with brisket(Its a Kreuz Thing), I tasted it and I liked it. Over all, it's just really good BBQ. And that seems hard to find lately. Next i'm trying the pulled pork, or maybe the brisket tacos..Humm..Decisions decisions......UPDATE: After coming back for the brisket tacos I added a star. Why? Because the taste of the brisket was consistent. It tasted the same as it did days earlier. Which means these aren’t left overs, it’s fresh brisket daily even though he’s a small operation. And that’s real deal BBQ.”

“Hey when you are low on cash but want fast food this is usually the way to go. Ordered like a 50 piece nuggets & couple $1 cheeseburgers (Mac sauce only) & a large soda. Went through drive through. I don't like this because I have gotten the wrong order a couple of times. Regardless, the drive thru was moving fast & we got the right food. It was hot & delicious. I might be exaggerating because of the hunger that day but it was good. I ate the burgers & couple nuggets. The burgers we're evenly sauced when normally it's all on one side. I have 3 teen/adult daughters who were filled up on nuggets too. The value is great for all food you get. This quick stop meal was a great visit. I appreciate people who put out good vibes. Positive optimism ripples out like a chain reaction.”

“I've had extremely great luck going to this Pizza Hut! We've gotten great tasting fresh pizza. It's been cooked perfectly as well!! I know I've heard a lot of negative stuff about it as well from bad service to horrible food but I can promise you I've never experienced anything like that here. My son's absolute favorite food in the world is pizza so we hit this one and the one in La Vernia quite a bit...We LOVE them both the pizza the staff just the whole experience has always been good thing for us!!”

“Maverick Grill has undergone new management/changes a few times, some for better and some for worse. The most recent changes have been great in my experience. Pricing: Average for the area. You don't find any great deals, but you're not getting overcharged compared to anywhere else nearby. Portions: Portions are generous. Especially the sides. Food quality: Excellent food quality. The steak is seasoned w/ salt & pepper, which is great for some people, not great for others (depends on your preference of seasoning). Sides are ALWAYS HOT. I cannot stress this enough; if you're sick of getting your food and the sides always being cold around here, go to Maverick. Those mashed potatoes w/ brown gravy will not disappoint, and the green beans will not be cold by the time you get to them. Service: Service is attentive and polite.”
