This place has some awesome food!!! I found out they have a weekend breakfast buffet that I'm dying to try!!!! I recommend saving room for dessert!!! If you order the Chicken Fried Steak, get a to-go box. (You're going to need it!!!) ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

This is a new restaurant. Most of the staff are young and learning. In saying that, the staff was delightful and the food was great! People should give this new place a try. It won't disappoint!! We will go back.

This place is really good. The food is good service is good. The desserts are out of this world. There all home made

I am giving four stars because our food came out cold. Why would I give four stars for cold food you might ask? Because the staff apologized and made it right. Also, this location has been open less than a week and posted signs upon entering that staff is in training. Because of this, I tend to give much more leniency in my rating because it isn't easy being in the food business. Overall, the restaurant was clean, well lit and properly decorated for the style they wanted to achieve in our town. Being a more rural area the rustic appeal makes it very comfortable. All the booths and tables looked new and were very comfortable to sit in without being cramped. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Some of the pricing seemed a little more than other places but the portions were plentiful for what you paid. In my opinion the coffee was good without the overly bitter stuff you get from most chain places. The cold food I mentioned above was a product of training the kitchen staff we were told. I'm OK with that. Everyone has to learn and start somewhere even the cooks. If this place had been open for years and I got cold food I probably wouldn't go back but I definitely will go back because we were brought hot replacement food immediately and an apology as well. An apology always goes a long way. Thanks Hometown Restaurant for a good breakfast. My wife and I will be back!
