Love this place. Owner is super friendly and engaging. The super friendly guy that takes your order (didn't catch a name but you will know who I am talking about) is always so happy to be working. Food is amazing! Love that there is always new specials that come along.

Incredible food. One of the best kept secrets in the valley. You won’t be surprised. Having lived in Louisiana for years, this is as good as it gets! Jason is an incredible chef and the kindest man you’ll ever meet, and his staff is just the same. Their daily specials are always the best choice, but we also love their blackened chicken pasta, red beans and rice, and hush puppies,

We have gone a few times but today was fantastic! They were having a gator party with fresh alligator on the spit so we decided to be adventurous with some new cuisine and tried the gator platter! We also had our toddler with us who is fairly picky with food and doesn't really like homemade macaroni and cheese (only Kraft) but with the encouragement from James that is what we ordered for her. She ate almost the whole bowl! Jason also checked in with us before we left ensuring we all enjoyed our food but especially our little girl and also gave her a free popsicle! With it being a Saturday and having an event the place was hopping but service was prompt and the food was delicious! 10/10 would recommended and we will be returning again!

I went here just over a week ago I believe, and it was fabulous! The pork Po'boy (?) was excellent! James, the fella taking the orders, a true value to the restaurant! I don't believe we would've been just as pleased with it all, if it weren't for him. He is brilliant at what he does. My mom, sister and I felt quite welcome there, and I will happily go there again; just an fyi, portions are truly huge (could share a Po'boy and be happily full). Also for a sweet tooth, the beignets were lovely too. Also, I believe these guys probably do sweet tea the right way (not too sweet, so that you will feel a cavity coming on ?). Can't say enough more positive about the experience ?.

Delicious food. Incredibly friendly service. Loved this place! It was my first time eating here, my husband's second. I wasn't sure what to get so I went with the pulled pork sandwich and BBQ beans. My husband had the shrimp and grits. I wasn't too sure about that but he let me try some and it was the best! The man who took our order also bussed tables and went around checking on the customers. He was super friendly. He gave me my drink gratis just because it was my first time there. Later, as we were finishing up, he brought us 6 beignets (free again!) They were scrumptious. I'm telling all my friends about MayMoes!
