This is a quaint little café in the middle of Paradise, Utah. The proprietors are amazing. Super nice to deal with. Super friendly. Down-home country feel here. The food is even more amazing. I’m having the pulled pork sandwich for the second time. It’s a bit of a drive, but come out and give them a chance. OK so this is an update: I just noticed they serve pie here. So I tried the coconut meringue. Looks just as good as it presents itself. It’s actually baked right here in the cafe. OK now you know where to get dinner and dessert.
I heard about Stillwater Cafe from a friend. We decided to make the 15 minute drive from Logan to go try this restaurant we had never heard of before. We were so glad we did!!! There were so many things we liked about our experience. The customer service was excellent. We asked a lot of questions at the counter before we ordered and she answered all of them and didn't seem annoyed.
We enjoyed the country feel of the place while we waited for our food. I loved the feel of the store.
The food came and I was in awe at how big our hamburgers were. The fries were crisp and seasoned to perfection. I've never had better fries. My only suggestion to the owner would be to give us a larger portion.
I loved the Backwood Sauce burger. It came with onion rings on the burger, crisp bacon and a bbq sauce that was delicious. My wife and daughter both loved what they order as well. My wife ordered the Chicken Malibu. I actually liked her's even more than I liked my Backwood burger, and I really liked mine.
When we were done eating, Lisa, the owner came and visited with us for a while telling us the history of the restaurant. It was so kind of her to take the time to answer our questions.
The bathrooms were even spotless.
Everything about our visit was impressive including the beautiful drive out to Paradise!!
We will be back soon.
The owner is super nice and always trying new menu items. My food is always tasty and the dessert is always delicious! Nice to have a local place that is really clean and fun!
Great mushroom burger! Super flavorful and juicy burger! Fries were excellent! Just the right crispness and flavor. Fry sauce was good. The staff was very friendly. Nice little convenience store as well.
Paradise is beautiful, and I applaud the owners for running a clean, country style establishment with the local feel. I enjoyed walking around and reading a bit about the history and admiring the relics of a simpler life. I can imagine hitching my horse to the post just outside to get a bite to eat. The food, however left more to be desired. The burgers, I had the Wagyu, lacked flavor, moister and sauce. They were also on the expensive side ($14-$15). I would still recommend this place for the experience. You just don’t find local places like this anymore.
