“Amazingly beautiful property, fabulous views from the rim trail of the canyon and the Green river. There are many great activities for children and adults including boating, fishing, hiking and horseback rides. The log cabins are well equipped and delightful. Excellent amenities including an outdoor fire pit. Some of the cabins have wood burning fireplaces. The office is staffed by a very helpful family and have great sovereigns. Overall this is a great, peaceful places to stay in an awesome location. We will be visiting here again!”

“I'm happy to come to this country side of Utah, where you only can find good food, nature, nice people, and if you are complaining about this place, you need to be more humble, and remember you are not in the City, the you can find fancy Hotel and Motels , this is a MOTEL. “We just had a phenomenal experience here! Our waitress was the sweetest person and was very attentive to all of our needs. The food was fantastic all around, especially the fries and fry sauce. This is the perfect place for anyone to stop when in town. I also highly recommend the milkshakes, as they are frothy and the way every good milkshake should be.”

“We stopped here out of necessity because of a terrible snow storm while traveling south in Utah on Hwy 191. No way we could make it to Vernal. We were so relieved to find Flaming Gorge Resort in the middle of nowhere. We had no reservation, but we were welcomed with outstanding customer service. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The fireplace was a lovely inclusion. It was very affordable and so very quiet. The next morning, we ordered breakfast in the on-site restaurant. The staff was cheery, conversational, and helpful. Other guests delighted us with warm, pleasant conversation. We discovered Flaming Gorge Resort by accident, but we will return for an intentional vacation/visit in the future.”

“Every month of the year you'll find me fishing the Green River with my guides and staying at Dutch John Resort. The Rainbow and Giant Brown trout are always hungry and my guides always put me on the fish rain, snow, sleet or sunny weather it doesn't matter to my guide me or the fish !”

“This place is the reel deal! I am Korean—born and raised in NY and really missed Korean food. I spent the last 7 years wandering mountain towns on the west slopes. I have never run into a Korean restaurant, let alone Korean people in all these years. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled on this place. The food was excellent and the family was very kind. I will be back!”
