Café Zupas

Staff is so great!! They always get me through the line so fast and the food is awesome!! Never had a bad experience at this specific Zupas.

Wife and I found this gem. It's not on the beaten path, ordered online and it was available before the time they said it would be. Vegetables were fresh. Soups were tasty. Portions were what I expected for the cost. Not a cheap hamburger joint, so don't expect fresh food on the dirt cheap.

First, I consider myself a pretty patient person, especially with food service because I know what it's like. Second, I want to say that I don't like to leave negative reviews unless absolutely justified. This one is justified.

We recently moved to the area and we've been to this location several times. Sadly, every time we go, the service seems to get worse. But, I'm obsessed with the Mango Berry salad, so as long my salad is good I'll keep going. Today we ordered curbside because I was in a hurry, I get 30 minutes for lunch. Order curbside pick-up was timed at 12:05, so I get there at about 12:00... I live 5 minutes away. The sign says let them know on the app when you're there. 25 mins later, nothing, so I go in... I see a bag sitting on the shelf behind the counter and I wonder, is that mine? But, I let it go as there were quite a bit of people waiting for their orders--some were curbside pick-up and some were call-ins. About 15 minutes more and I'm done waiting, so I asked the nearest working person to cancel my order. She asked for the name and at this point it was about 12:45... I showed her my 12:05 pick-up time and told her what the name was. She walked over to the register area for a second then goes back to the shelf for the bag I saw earlier, grabs it and hands it to me stating that nobody told her the name of whom it was for. But, the name and vehicle type are right on the receipt taped to the bag!! So, all in all I waited 45 minutes, after ordering, for one soup, which wasn't the right soup, one sandwich, and one salad. :(

We got the pesto chicken sandwich, a couple of custom salads, and chicken noodle soup.

The soup was barely above room temp but that’s not normal for this location. Might have just been a slow day.

The sandwich and salads were excellent as always. The crew on shift were working hard to be fast so the visible effort meant a lot. They’re a good team and we’ll be back to hopefully get a hot soup this next time.
