Cassandra is the best server I’ve ever had. I come here every day to see her. The food is great and I love the coffee. I’ll keep coming back for the great service and friendly general manager Mark. He’s awesome.

I had lunch here with an old friend while on a one night layover on my way to visit family in California. I was impressed with the variety on the menu. Even though they were about to close at 3pm for cleaning between lunch and dinner, we weren't rushed and had a great meal. They are taking great care to provide a safe environment with ample spacing between guests, and the servers are friendly and attentive. I had a Shasta scramble with plenty of veggies, a dish of fresh fruit and a ginormous biscuit I had to take with me. Will definitely look for Black Bear Diners as I travel.

The food was AMAZING! I had the bear claw French toast. Didn't even eat half of it. Brought the rest home. My boyfriend got The Grizz and brought about half of it home. He said it was the best chicken fried steak he'd ever eaten. My son got the Wild Alaska Pesto Salmon with sweet potato fries. He was very happy with his dinner and brought home his left over fries. We will be visiting our local Black Bear in Boise when we get home from vacation. The staff at this location was super awesome! Very on the ball and nice. They never missed a beat! Great establishment!

First time at this Black Bear. Building is a little off the road, yet easy access to parking and building. Very clean inside. I was greeted as I walked in by a friendly employee and seated right away. Tried the Western Burger. Was very good. Nice toasted burn with melted cheese. Great BBQ sauce, I should have asked for more. Nice crispy fries.

This place is always a hit. The pancakes are to die for! They are really good & very original from anywhere else. Biscuits are really good. Can't go wrong with anything breakfast related on the menu. Prices are reasonable. Parking lot is usually pretty full!
