Hands down in this delicious Mexican food and a super cute ambiance that true to their heart offering of warm foods, on our way home we decided to check this and my hubby used his card but that time they're down and instead of letting us left with hungry stomach they give the foods for free!!!! Yes seriously for FREE bcs they say it's their fault anyway will visit again here and get back our bill with tip and definitely will dine & try more of their food in on their cute resto..
THANK U & RECOMEMDED THIS PLACE**
I do love this veggie quesadilla!!
CU Saturday for our next try.
Friendly and Tasty. Thanks for having us.
Edit
Second try, shrimp smothered burrito. Again really good. The flan also fine but could be little bigger for 5$. 😉. CU again.
Edit
Third try. Quesadillas with beef. Absolutely recommended. 2morrow again before we head to Las Vegas.
If you’re in Escalante and are a looking for some fast, quality, large portions of mexican food, stop by Georgie’s Outdoor Mexican Cafe. Frank, the owner, overheard our conversation on good activities in the area, and in the most warm and welcoming way gave us years of his local experience and even provided us with some maps and checklists. Great food, great company!
Endless Travelers
Awesome burritos! I was surprised to find they even do lattes and coffees. I usually go to the outfitters in town for food but it closed today for some reason. This was an awesome backup and made me come my primary source of delicious food in the area on my next trip.
If you want good Mexican food in Escalante, look no further.
My husband and I tried:
- Corner Café Smothered Burrito with sirloin strips
- Hiker's Favorite Quesadilla with sirloin beef strips
- Chips & Dips
- Horchata and Lavender Lemonade
Both of our entrees were good. My personal favorite was the burrito because I loved the sauce. I enjoyed the bean dip, but I wish you could get it with chips without having to add on salsa too. The lavender lemonade was fantastic.
It's a truck, but they have tables which you can eat at outside. Stop here for lunch and you won't be disappointed.
