Centro Woodfired Pizzeria

Let me start with stating the obvious: this is the best restaurant in Cedar City, amen and amen. The aroma of charring crust and garlic tempt you from a couple of blocks away. Once ensnared, there’s no escaping Centro. Our waitress, Liv, was a delight, encouraging us to share a salad and go half/half on our pizza selection. We got the arugula salad. The lemon vinaigrette that dressed it had just enough sweetness to compliment the peppery arugula and cool you off from the Cedar City heat. The Parmesan in the salad was robust. One side of our pizza was fennel sausage and the other the white pizza, a glorious homage to garlic. The fennel sausage was herbaceous and played well against the light char on the crust. The white pizza was a star. The garlic and cheeses were a rollicking mix of flavor and texture. Loved every bite. Big bonus that Centro is not a Pepsi (swill) shop like essentially every other establishment here and the Diet Coke flowed freely. If you’re in Cedar City, book a table at Centro. It’s outstanding.

After. 9 1/2 he drive, we were ready for some grub. The pizza was fantastic as well as the salad we ordered. The staff was phenomenal. Our server Cam was very friendly and professional. He was very attentive to us as well as hustling like a madman during a very busy dinner rush. Can not recommend this place enough. Top notch food, unmatched service and an overall great vibe. Nice outdoor seating. Good service. Pizzas are prepared quickly and are very delicious. Just a two block walk from the Shakespeare theatre. Arugula salad is fabulous. Pizza Bianca is my favorite. You can get a pizza half and half to try two options in one. Good beer selection if you’re looking for that.

This place has a beautiful modern Italian vibe. Nestor was a fantastic Server he took great care of us. The salads are family size and yummy. Gluten free crust was excellent on my previous trip here. I’m a bartender and feel the wine list didn’t have much I wanted.

It was pretty good. The crust is very thin and chewey and I understand people like that. Wood oven baked. Sadly, our pizzas were very light on pizza sauce. Original recipes. Terrific service and nice atmosphere. One of the plates they brought us in a stack of plates had olive oil and some kind of greens like spinach or basil... Somehow a dirty plate got mixed in with the clean plates. The chicken with white sauce was our favorite.
