I've never heard of this place but I was starving when I got off of work and thought I would just pop in to sew what they have and it was like heaven! Jonnie Walker was the lovely lady behind the counter with all of the mouth watering donuts and was such a sweetheart! If you ever just want something quick and inexpensive to satisfy your sweet tooth, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!
I love this place!
There's so much more than donuts going on here.
I've been in several times, and each time it was great! My bestie and I always go at lunchtime, yet I hear they have bingo on Wednesdays and Saturdays, in the late afternoon/eve.
You can order beer/wine/ alcohol to enjoy with a plethora of menu choices.
Everything I have tried so far has been yummy.
They have car shows here, once a month I think, although I have not made it out to one yet.
The upscale casual ambiance of this place makes it a nice place to come as you are and relax with good food and drink.
Another update: once again good food.
My bestie and I come here a lot!
Update: We went to Dolly's this morning for the 4th time since March. My rating has gone from 5 stars to 3. Sadly, they were out of drip coffee and orange juice. How can you be a doughnut place and NOT have coffee? Our waitress said the manager didn't order any for the week. Sounds to me like they may need a new manager. The sausage on my breakfast sammie was undercooked, and they used scrambled eggs. Scrambled eggs should not be used on a breakfast sandwich unless the customer specifically asks for it that way.
We spotted Dolly Donuts on our drive home Satueday night. My husband Googled the place and immediately decided we needed to go the next morning. The food was delicious the service was great, and the decor was nice as well. We have decided we will go back sometime for supper to see what food is like at that time.
My friend and I were in the area and decided to try it out. I mean a place called Dolly Donuts Bar and Grill - you kind of need to see it. The staff was amazing - so patient as we tried to decide which delicious donuts to get and then they were very attentive checking in to see if we needed anything. I had a burger and fries which was good but the donuts were the best part. I got the pistachio donut. It looked so good and I couldn’t imagine what it would taste like. It was soft and a lot like a croissant with delicious layers but not really sweet (which I knew my husband would love). My friend got the citrus donut which was probably the best donut I’ve had here in Utah soft and not dry at all!! The lemon filling was refreshing and I wished it went through the whole donut instead of just the center. I was actually surprised at the price also - more affordable than I expected for meal and donut. A dozen specialty donuts is a bit pricy but that is expected. After trying the donuts I would be much more inclined to spend that!
We went here on a whim, and were not disappointed! It's a small diner, so that's something to keep in mind if you have large parties (even then, they have the option of pushing tables together). All four of us greatly enjoined the food, and our server was attentive! We didn't get any donuts this time, but they had a good variety and looked delicious! We will definitely go back!
