A number of years ago I went to a restaurant in Park City, Utah, where I ate one of the best steaks I've ever had in my entire life. I don't go to restaurants like this very often because of the cost, but when my wife and I went for anniversary to Harbor Seafood and Steaks, I hoped for a steak that at least equaled the one in Park City. I had never tried Wagyu beef before, and had heard of its unrivaled tenderness with fat marbled throughout. The steak I got here though (10 oz. for $65) didn't wow me, and I found myself thinking I could have had a similar cut for half the price at Texas Roadhouse. My wife ordered a side of lobster chunks with her meal (for an additional $17), but was served on a separate small plate in a sad pile, next to a ramekin of cold, herbed butter that, frankly, tasted like it had taken a few laps around the fridge, careful to pick up other unwelcome flavors that wanted to tag along for the run. With this, I found myself thinking of Red Lobster and how we could have ordered a full lobster tail for a similar price. Now, I get it...this restaurant is small and the chains can probably get these foods for cheaper by buying in bulk, but it's what you do with it that's important. If I'm going to a place that I want to celebrate a special occasion, that I know will be pricier? I would expect a little bit more oomph to justify the cost of going there, and even to persuade me to return. I'm giving this experience 3 stars and, by the looks of the average review (4.7?), I'm in the minority here. Sounds like those people had great meals. Excellent for them. Just OK for me, but not enough to return and pay higher prices for the possibility of another OK experience.
My partner and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time and after a long day of house hunting; today was the day! The service is impeccable. Just like Darius said the second we sat down, "Leave it to me, sit back and relax." He did just that, his recommendations all paired perfectly and everything was perfection. We have now found our favorite steak and seafood place, and cant wait to see Darius again!
Really nice place with excellent food.
Patio dining, but could be very hot, no misters to reduce heat and the patio is right off the parking lot which makes it even hotter.
Patio is covered with beautiful grape vines(still hot) and there’s a garden across the parking lot for all their fresh veggies, very nice.
Great service except when he realized we’re old and won’t be ordering a ton of drinks and food, so service became very spotty and long between check ins. We ordered a bottle of wine and I refilled our glasses the entire time, not once did he come to refill.
It was my birthday, and the attempt to acknowledge it was very feeble. Quite disappointing.
Food was good so we’ll probably return but the whole experience was a lot less than hoped for, especially since it was the first time we’d been out to eat for 5 months due to CoVid19.
Beyond impressed.
The service was incredible- Every single person goes above and beyond x10. You will be met with prompt food, inviting staff, and a comfortable + safe environment.
If I tried my hardest I would not be able to find a single thing wrong with the food. I would not alter a thing, I would not suggest any changes to absolutely anything. Appetizers, cocktails, entrees, desserts- everything was absolutely incredible.
If I could leave more stars I would leave at least 10/5- but since I can’t I just will be referring everyone I know to dine here.
You will be throughly satisfied. Guaranteed.
Fresh seafood and the best beef from Snake River Farms. Everything is amazing. The artisan cocktails are over the top good. We haven't had one thing we don't like. Don't save this social restaurant for special occasions. Life is too short.
