This Beastro has some good food, my family and I have tried a large part of their menu over the years and It's all been pretty good. Be sure to keep your zoo cups, it'll be easier on the wallet next time eating there.
I found it a great place to eat. For 4.50, we got a nice bowl of mac and cheese. I didn't try any of the other food except the popcorn, which was pretty good. There really wasn't anything else open at the zoo in the winter, so we had no choice, but we enjoyed it.
Great food -though expensive-, spacious seating, and nice atmosphere.
Yes, it's expensive, as anyone would guess, but I was actually impressed with the amount of food and quality that you got. We got a large pizza for our family for about 25$. It was huge and fed all 5 of us plus another kid who came along and was tasty to boot. That's less than $5 per person and as cheap as taking the family to any fast food place. A friend ordered a sandwich, and although expensive ($7) the sandwich was as big as her head and looked delicious. So yes, pack your own lunch is the best option to save cash, but it's not a rip off at the beastro, just expensive.
