The restaurant itself is cute the food is over priced for the 6/10 quality. For just my husband and I it was about $32 which is far above average for a restaurant like this. I would highly suggest if visiting here to AVOID the sweet sauce it is wayyyyy too sweet, doesn’t even taste like BBQ sauce just sugar. Even the original barbecue sauce is a little sweeter than I would like but better than the sweet sauce. (Even their ketchup is super sweet!)

Smokey the bear approves. The ribs were a perfect smoked flavor naturally. They did a great job. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Clean and comfortable. They need pictures of items on the menu. Still not sure if they regularly come in a meal or individual items. Also the my need to have more sauces available. All were too sweet for my liking. Overall a great dine in experience with great meats. Come hungry

This restaurant is surely one of the most pleasant restaurants in the region. Always when I visit this place I am awfully happy. They keep their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You always win with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

This has always been my favorite barbecue place, until the last visit when I found out they got rid of their red beans and rice. It was the best thing on the menu and the biggest reason I would go. Their meats still deserve five stars, but utter heartbreak only deserves one star, so that averages out to three stars. RIP, red beans and rice.

This is my favorite BBQ joint in Salt Lake, but I'm leaving a three star review because I'm disappointed that they've recently changed how they make their onion rings. Their onion rings have always been my favorite item on their menu, and actually my favorite onion rings anywhere. It seems that in the past couple months they've changed how they make them. I asked the staff about this and they confirmed that they did change the recipe, they said "so they're easier to make". The new recipe is nowhere near as good as the old recipe, and honestly taste like the cheap stuff you'd get at a fast food joint. They appear to still be charging the same price for the "easier to make" recipe as they did for the "harder to make" recipe. I just wanted to voice my disappointment that R&R has apparently decided to lower it's standards by making some of their menu items in a sub-par manner while still charging the same price as the higher quality item. Hopefully someone from R&R sees this review and does something about it, either bringing back the higher quality food or adjusting the price to reflect the "easier to make" recipe. If it's "easier to make" and doesn't taste nearly as good, then why should the customer pay the same price as the better food that took more time and care to make? One of the reasons I loved R&R was because they seemed committed to making quality food for their customers, but if they're going to cheap out like this then I'll likely stop coming. Every time I've eaten there I always got the onion rings because they were better than anywhere else. They were my favorite item on the menu, and I just don't see the reason in going anymore if I can't get them.
