Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Food is awesome, as always and we had the most upbeat and pleasant server named Franklin. Uncommon for restaurants of this style. Asked us how our meal was multiple times, experience was awesome 10/10. Also witnessed him cater bilingually to another patron.

The fire-grilled steak burrito was pretty good, although the steak was a little over-done, which is not usual here. I’m happy the lobby is open for dine-in, but they have the loudest phone in the world that never stops ringing, and they don’t answer it. Seriously, the whole meal was eaten listening to a crazy loud phone. Also, no hot sauces... that’s right, Mexican food with no hot sauce.

The fun part is getting them to understand me as I have an English accent, not an American or Spanish accent. Once I worked out what they were asking for I managed to get what I wanted there. Always go though because the food is fantastic. I have only managed to get to dessert once though, the Key Lime Pie and that was worth it for sure. Amazing.
