DEL MAR modern seafood taqueria

This place was really good. Sometimes it’s hard to find good sea food around here but I thought this was pretty good. We got fish n chips and some tacos. Everything tasted great. The restaurant was very clean and it had some cool decor. I would eat here again.

The food was superb! The salsa was spiced wonderful and surprisingly another favorite by kids and spouse. The burrito had its own unique flavor that made me taste buds sing! The marlin meat tacos were beautifully laid out and were tasty as well! Definitely will come again for more refreshing food!

An absolute hidden gem! It’s a shame we hadn’t tried it before. The Baja shrimp tacos were perfection. Exactly what you want in a shrimp taco and nearly impossible to find this style of shrimp taco in Utah. The birria tacos were the best we’ve had in the US. Everything was incredibly fresh and well-presented. The staff was extremely friendly and had great recommendations and the restaurant was not busy. It’s hard to find a place that provides such fresh, high-quality food. It’s the perfect sit-down style food without having to be waited on. We can’t wait for our next visit and to show our friends!

The food was great, the service was friendly. They had a minor confusion in order delivery but it worked out. The place was hopping and it wasn't super easy to find a clean table, but we found a booth to our liking.

My elderly father commented he had never quite had a burrito like the one they made him (classic steak burrito) and he's a life long Mexican food eater from southern California. He quite enjoyed it. My spouse grabbed some fish tacos and thought they were delicious! My surf and turf burrito was fine. Fountain drink didn't suck either (minor pet peeve when a places machine works poorly, this one was in good shape and made a great drink).

We enjoyed the heat of the red salsa. It's hard to find places that actually have some spice!

The music was a tad loud for my liking, but I get it... Busy place, it helps to drown out other people.

Bathrooms were ok, though I laughed out loud at how little paper towel came out with each pass of my hand. Guess it probably saves some trees!

Felt a little pricey, but it was good enough for just passing through.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Del Mar in American Fork, Utah and I must say that I was blown away by the authenticity and deliciousness of their Mexican cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The menu was filled with a wide range of classic Mexican dishes, all made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I decided to try their tacos and they did not disappoint! The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the tortillas were soft and freshly made.

In addition to the great food, the service was exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Overall, Del Mar is definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in American Fork, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious meal. If you are a fan of Mexican cuisine, you definitely need to check out Del Mar! Five stars all around!
