The LakeHouse at Deer Creek offers a delightful dining experience with its charming ambiance and diverse menu. During our visit, we sampled various dishes, and here's an overview of our experience.

Starting off on a high note, the local meat and cheese plate left a lasting impression. The selection was exceptional, boasting an array of flavorful cheeses and perfectly cured meats. It was a true delight for the taste buds, showcasing the region's finest artisanal offerings.

Moving on to the cauliflower tacos, we had mixed feelings. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell a bit short. The flavors seemed a bit lacking, as if they were missing that special touch to elevate them to their full potential. Perhaps some additional seasoning or a complementary sauce would have helped to enhance the overall experience.

However, the burger stole the spotlight and became the star of the evening. The combination of the juicy patty, the rich and creamy peanut butter mousse, and the accompanying toppings created a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. Each bite was a delightful experience that left us craving more. The burger truly showcased the culinary expertise of the chef.

To conclude the meal, we indulged in the chocolate cake and the panna cotta. The chocolate cake, while visually appealing and beautifully presented, was a touch too sweet for our liking. It might be perfect for those with an intense sweet tooth, but for those seeking a more balanced dessert, it may fall short. On the other hand, the panna cotta was a true masterpiece. Its silky texture, combined with the delicate flavors and the perfectly balanced sweetness, created a heavenly treat that delighted our palates.

Overall, The LakeHouse at Deer Creek provided a memorable dining experience. While the cauliflower tacos left something to be desired, the meat and cheese plate showcased the best of the local region, and the burger and panna cotta stole the show with their exceptional flavors. It's a place where culinary delights meet serene surroundings, making it a destination worth visiting for food enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

We had the unique opportunity to enjoy Chef Tamara's food while visiting the SLC area. It was amazing! Drinks, dinner and dessert were all 5 stars. My wife and I were visiting the area to hit some of their world-class mountains and we were able to squeeze in another world-class dining experience at The Lakehouse. We drove nearly an hour to get there and would do it over and over again if we didn't live in Phoenix. AZ misses you Chef but happy you're crushing it just a bit north of us haha!

The setting here is beautiful. Wish we could've sat outside like we thought we made a reservation for, but I guess the patio is closed. The fry bread appetizer and the weekend pie were the best parts of the meal and were very good. My mother-in-law enjoyed the rabbit lasagna. Skip the provisions dumplings as those were disappointing. Very weird texture and a grape jelly taste. Kids were happy with spaghetti and corn dog offerings from the kids menu. We had good service and a beautiful table with a great view of the reservoir.

Wonderful! You would think a restaurant at the lakes edge would be a place to grab a quick burger and taco. Not so much. This is a laid back setting with exceptional fresh food expertly prepared. The chef seeks out local fresh produce and adds exceptional cuts of meat to create amazing dishes. The venison was a huge surprise. Typically thought of to be tough and gamey. It was tender and flavorful. Served on a wonderful bed of fresh vegetables. Another surprise was the squash cake that was simply amazing.
