This place was great - the mash potatoes tasted like home which is exactly what you want after a long day of hiking. If the atmosphere doesn’t make you feel like youre in the Wild West days, I don’t know what will. Great BBQ. Loved every bite.

We had the ribs tonight and they were wonderful. We loved the homemade white sauce. The atmosphere is great with a nice fire in the center of the dining area.

This is a MUST! This BBQ place is truly the best! We read the reviews and actually stayed at the Thousand Lakes campground because of it. The atmosphere is great. I love the outdoor feel with amenities of being indoors. It rained so hard while we dined and we stayed dry but had the feel of outdoor dining. The chef is personable, passionate and so friendly. And...he even has tofu! Everything was OUTSTANDING! The meats were tender, perfectly seasoned and nice sizes. The coleslaw tasted like a pina colada...with hints of pineapple. The mashed potatoes were the best we have ever had! And the cornbread and honeybutter were off the charts amazing!!!Please do not miss this place. It is only open certain times of the year....so plan your trip accordingly. We cannot wait to go back!

We had the combo bar b q ribs and beef tri tips. It was all very good. The meat was very flavorful and tender. One of the deserts is s’mores and they have a cozy fire pit to roast the marshmallows on. Great ambiance! I highly recommend this place

We had the 2 combo dinner with BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken and was just the right portions for the 2 of us and they were really good. The creamed corn was different than other creamed corns we have had. There were other vegetables mixed in the creamed corn. Very nice atmosphere.
