Very good home cooking, nice porch and friendly service! A nice stop on our road trip.
I love stopping in for a quick country- inspired meal, and the music (Saturdays in the summer?) And good company made the evening just a little special. Definitely eat out on the porch to get the most of this little country store/ restaurant. And don't forget to save time to take a look at the cool gift shop.
Good service food was excellent
On a motorcycle trip
Old but famous hotel on the scenic Vermont routes at the intersection of route 100 and route 125. Tried coffee and some fresh baked pastries and it’s great. The interior gives the ancient feel but neatly maintained by all the friendly staff here.
Any one following my posts knows by now I've been back on my vanilla shake binge again.
This place had a Vermont Maple shake. And while usually I go malted. This one was absolutely delicious.
I also had food (often not). I got the turkey club and added avocados. What a great tasting sandwich!
I live 3 hours away. So I am limited to being here when visiting.
But if you are closer, or what the heck take the 3 hour drive, and stop in for real food and real people!!
