Porkys Place & Backyard BBQ

We were in town visiting from LA for a quick weekend getaway, and we happened to stumbled upon this bbq joint, it was the best BBQ I've ever had! They have a great tap beer selection to wash all of the food down. The place is small on the inside, but with warm weather they have plenty of space on the outside. The staff is fine but could stand to be a bit more professional in the front. A bit pricey but the food is great so oh well. I had such a nice time so I'll be back.

I missed a turn and was only going to use their parking lot to turn around. Waiting for traffic to clear, I smelled the meat in their smoker and decided to stay for lunch. Glad I did.
I ordered the pulled pork bowl. Tons of moist meat. Not smothered in sauce, which is good, because there is more on the table if you want it.
Service was friendly and efficient. I told the server I was in a hurry, and the server knew without me having to tell her.

Awesome food! Pulled pork was so tender it was like butter. Great mac & cheese! Ground meat comes right from their farm. Nice folks. Highly recommended.

This local establishment produces delicious BBQ from locally-sourced ingredients... They have generous portions and a very friendly staff! I enjoyed the ribs, and my wife had the pulled pork. Reasonable prices and all of it is delicious . I highly recommend you stop into this restaurant...pizza is also available and adult beverages. In good weather there is outdoor seating and pleasant views on their expansive backyard lawn.

The food was great! The staff is super nice and kind to my kids who were all energetic and hyper. They provided crayons and paper to draw on. The food was scrumptious and came out fast. Definitely a will return to place!
