    I absolutely love what the owners have done with this place! They took a dilapidated building in the heart of our village and literally worked magic in rehabbing it. While the exterior is rather unassuming, the interior is understated elegance. Classy & sassy, yet relaxed & welcoming. This is a great spot to socialize with friends, entertain colleagues or business prospects, or just relax with the family.

    Service is polite and professional. The food is visually appealing, imaginative and beyond satisfying. While I enjoy eating in general, my own weakness lies in my love of desserts. I had their house-made crème brûlée last week - *perfection* - this week friends all shared a !lemon! crème brûlée and a very decadent, and not overly sweet, New York style chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake!

    My Orange blossom and lemonade martini weren't bad, either, lol.

    All-in-all, 10 out of 10 stars, and a home run for my hometown of Bennington, Vermont!

    Extremely diverse menu items that I have never seen anywhere else. Same with drinks menu. Friendly waitstaff who were non-intrusive but took care to check on us regularly.

    Great food, relaxed atmosphere and high quality drinks. A much needed option for dining and drinks in downtown Bennington.

    Great food and cocktail selection, and a very cute place. Might have just been tonight but service was really bad, and I'm normally not one to complain on a Saturday night out. Everything we ordered from the bar we had to order twice because it would either be forgotten or wouldn't make its way to the kitchen. Not the bartenders' fault but you could tell they were running out of glasses. I'm not sure if the guy with the long goatee is the owner, but he was super cranky and giving my mom a hard time when she was getting seats at the bar. The pate and cheeseboards are great, so I'll definitely be back and am expecting a better experience based on other reviews. Will update if so.
