The Publyk House

Large restaurant with beautiful views of mountains. Nice salad bar and good menu. Have been three times when traveling and enjoyed each meal immensely.

The food is awesome, especially the salad bar and fish and meat dishes. Quite a few options on the gluten free menu. But the service can be slow when it is busy.

Good straightforward food, well prepared. We were pleasantly surprised by the salad bar, which had both fresh veggies and cooked salads, with plenty of fixings. The maple butter is ridiculously good, and because it was super busy the night we were there, the server was kind enough to bring us a second helping with warm bread. We ate out on the deck because the weather was beautiful, so the setting was amazing. I had roast chicken, and it was caught at that perfect moment when it was exactly cooked through but not in the least overdone. That's good cooking!

Yummy calamari and great brie. Drinks were good. Music was a nice addition. A little pricey.

Nice views. Food was OK. My chicken was under-cooked, but the waiter was very kind--offered to replace the meal--I declined and he removed it from our bill and comped our calamari. The calamari was done nicely. Ambiance was boisterous. The decor of the far back room was a little nicer imo.
