St. Johnsbury Distillery Tasting Room & Speakeasy

Terrific service and pretty good food. We had a lovely brunch here and will visit again. Heuvos Rancheros and their take on Chicken and Waffles were both delicious and put together beautifully. The staff were attentive and obliging. Went back a week later and the menu had changed--evidently ding a pop-up thing. Not quite as good and overpriced for what is was. Not a rum-drinker so it's kind of limiting.

EXCELLENT! Right from walking in the door! This place is amazing! Everything about it pointed to dedication: sitting areas, drink appearance and foods surburb taste and presentation! WOW! You've got to visit this unique yester year experience!

We loved all of the varieties! My personal favorite, as a whiskey drinker, was the Back Woods Reserve. Drinks like rum, tastes like whiskey. The Maple was of course delicious. And the Elderflower was spectacular as well. Not a single miss! Really enjoyed the newly renovated space on Saturday. Awesome job!

Eat your heart out, Ernest Hemingway! You don't know how brilliant artisan rum can be until you have tasted the selection here. Big fan of Dunc's Maple Rum, Elderberry and Backwoods Reserve. Drink neat or as a mixer for cocktails. Hope they will soon be available on this side of the Atlantic (meaning the UK and the European continent) as they epitomise American distillery at its most inspiring, impressive and impeccable!
