We held a welcome party the night before our wedding reception at VT Pub & Brewery, and it couldn't have been a better spot. The greenhouse space at the front of the bar was perfect for our group, the bartenders provided excellent service, and Elise was super helpful in planning and executing that evening -- all that, plus great drinks and bar food!

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I am in Burlington. It has a cool Irish pub feel, and the food is great. The menus are actually printed like a newspaper. I have been here for breakfast and dinner, and never had a bad experience. The place usually is not crowded, but there is ample seating inside and out. It has TV's for viewing games, and a good bar. Its not a rowdy place, but has that type of vibe, which is good. Its not boring. If you sit outside, you have a nice view of the park across the street. And, if you are visiting Church St, it is just a short walk from there to here.

Cheap, quick service, friendly staff. Yes, food is pretty basic but you don’t go to VPB for local craft entrees. Just good simple pub fair.

The food and drinks were great, and are the reason for 3 stars. My friend and I both got burgers (different ones) and both were very tasty. However, the reason for just 3 stars was the service. We arrived around 9pm on a Friday and as we walked up to the host stand, the host saw us and walked away. We then proceeded to wait, while multiple staff members walked by and ignored us, for just shy of 10 minutes. We were finally seated, just as we were about to head somewhere else... unfortunately, the service is the reason we won’t be back.

The whole family liked it. The food was good and prices very reasonable. The service was lovely, pleasant and sweet. And best, unlike most breweries that also serve good that I've been to, the beer was really good. The honey porter was delicious, as were the others we trued. If we lived here, we'd be regulars.
