The Old Foundry

AMAZING. You have to try this place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and bar is well stocked. Portions are huge. Best wings in the state. Prime rib is to die for. Drinks are very well made. You won't regret it.

We go several time a year and the food is almost always great. The ongoing issue with this restaurant is the length of time to order and receive you food. Waiting an hour for the main entree is not unusual. Surely they are aware. I have hypothesized that it must be due to a very small kitchen and they must be forced to prepare a small number of meals at a time.....along with probably a much smaller than needed staff. Again that's just a wild guess on my part. Nonetheless we keep going back. The clam chowder is incredible. The Vermonter burger is award winning. If you can wait an hour for your food then by all means try them out!

Saw a fun band here and danced a bit, drank a bit. Friendly service and my boyfriend questioned if they were the best wings he had ever had in his entire life. Take note: My sister would have liked them crispier. Poutine was devoured as well.

Memorable restaurant in downtown St. Albans. Nice dining room plus outdoor courtyard seating. Area for parties or events with space for live music or entertainment. The Foundry Burger for lunch was outstanding. Wish I could have tried many of the other menu choices too.

Not my first time here and definitely won't be my last. The food was excellent the service was pleasant. I had a Korean beef appetizer served over risotto that was out of this world.
