This is a great general store. You can even buy homemade sandwiches, toys, clothes, coffee and donuts. Always welcoming like everywhere in Vermont.
Great store with unique offerings. Amazing handmade rolls for sandwiches. My only complaint, if you are going to charge almost $9 for a sandwich, more than two pieces of meat would be nice.
Very friendly and welcoming. Well stocked. Lots of variety. Adequate parking. Picnic tables and other seating both inside and out. Check out the second floor for the toys and kids apparel.
This is a store you just have to stop and go in if you are near by. They have everything. You will find things used years ago that you had forgotten about. You could spend hours there. While you are there have lunch their food is great. Its like going into a smaller version of the old country store but better. Up stairs is a whole different place. Books toys cloths something for all ages
They appear to have a little bit of everything. It's a gift shop / hardware store / kitchen store / truck stop/ deli. I had the Laker Sandwich, which was quite good: roast beef and turkey on a home-baked roll. $9 with tax. Comes with tortilla chips. There's a place across the highway where you can sit and watch the goings on at the marina. Very scenic.
