McKee's Island Pub & Pizza

Stopped in on the way to Burlington. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food as the place felt more pub than grub. The burger I had was well made with a balanced sauce.

Good selection. Wait for food was a little long. Waitress was stellar but kept forgetting things (beer, silverware, plates before apps came out). All in all, their burgers are fantastic.

We stopped by here after leaving ILM going to Vermont. There was one bartender...I mean she was the bartender/hostess/food runner/busser and what a worker she was! Clearly understaffed but she did her best and kept the positive attitude.

We got some ice cold beer and a very tasty Pizza which is worth going back.

Management needs to figure this one out and not let it go downhill and/or show up to assist. 5 stars because your bartender was top notch and your pizza was wonderful. -5 stars for being so understaffed.

The pizza was fantastic and the chicken wings were top notch. The poutine was out of this world. If you get a chance stop by for a bite to eat. The prices are just like everywhere else. The service is top notch, the girl was by herself with a full dinning area and she did a fantastic job. So again, stop by you'll be glad you did.
