Rimrock's Mountain Tavern

We recently went to Stowe for a girls weekend. Stopped into Rimrock’s on Saturday for lunch. It was SO good that we went back Sunday. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious. The service was excellent! I wish there was a place like this at home.

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening. Was a little unsure because the place was almost empty when we got there but it was great. Menu was traditional tavern fare but the burger and fries were both excellent. Waitress was very friendly and even though business picked up a bit after we got there still did a great job.

Great little tavern. Food was tasty. Beer variety excellent. And best of all, open until 11 where most places close at 9 in Stowe Vermont.

We stopped here for lunch today and were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff our family ordered the roast beef wrap —delicious; the chicken fingers platter and BLT. The comments were absolutely positive all around. The French fries seem hand cut and are the best we’ve had in quite a while. The chicken tenders were delicious and so plenty enough for leftovers.

It is set back in a plaza but definitely worth the stop and is on our list for when we return.

A little more seasoning on the pork chicken and beef items would be nice. Definitely less frying of items. Some more veggie items... Fresh salads were tasty and fresh ????
