Ciderhouse Bar & Grill

We stopped in during our trip to Newport and while the overall experience was nice, there were a couple things that sort of caused a hitch in giving our time 5 stars.
We arrived the first time at about 2:40 and are told they closed between 2 and 4 which was fine and not a problem. We returned the next evening for dinner and had the chance to sit down for the full experience.
The biggest issue we found was when our meal was served and the medium burger my boyfriend ordered arrived close to frozen in the middle. They were very accommodating and took care of it, but it took a good amount of time to get his food back and cooked properly so we did play the waiting game.
When we were able to eat, the food was very good and the staff was very friendly. We had a good time, but just hope our next visit is a little better.

Burgers were decent, sides were tasty. Nothing really stood out about our visit. Prices were good, service was friendly. The restaurant was cute and had big floor to ceiling windows, but was easy to miss from the street, it was actually inside of a shared space with a coffee shop and some retailers. They offer gluten free buns/bread and a few vegetarian options. For a small town with few options this restaurant stood out.

Good food, service average. Whiskey Burger is good!

The literal best Ruben sandwich I've ever had. The hard cider selection was fairly decent, and certainly delicious. The service was awesome, and the menu full of fresh from farmer options. I'd highly recommend this place.
