Andrzej's Polish Food

The sort of food that makes everything better. So good.

Current location is Putney Rd at the Black Mountain Inn. I managed to snag the last order of beef stroganoff. 5 stars isn't a high enough rating for this hearty meal! The owner is very friendly and is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work! Can't reccomend him enough!

What a pleasant surprise. Was doing an art walk and ended up parking near his food truck/van. Really delicious food, even memorable.

I was really excited when I first heard about this new cart in Brattleboro. There had been a little buzz from my circle of friends and I decided to give it a try. Who doesn't love kielbasa and sauerkraut?
I quickly learned that it was so much more. While the menu options are few, André nails Polands top dishes! Not only quality kielbasa. HOMEmade sauerkraut, made with tender pork adds marvelous flavor. And stuffed cabbages to die for! I mean they are sooooo good! Puts my attempts at home, to shame. Perogies. Potato pancake. Mmmmm! Plus all the fixins; hot mustard and sour cream! And you can't beat the price. You aren't going away hungry.
André himself is very personable and enjoys sharing his story and his journey. A truly good person, you can just tell.
My family is there on a weekly basis at this point. We just enjoy the food so much. I highly recommend you folks check out his place on Flat Street in Brattleboro. It'll be worth the trip, I assure you!

Andrzej makes homemade Polish food and serves it outdoor here. The food is great, traditional Polish food. Not only is the food great, Andrzej was more than happy to discuss places and experiences in his native Poland too. He is a very, very nice man cooking and serving real good Polish food. I can't go wrong here.
