Panda North Chinese And Japanese Restaurant

Nice little Asian joint across from my hotel. Reasonably priced, not cheap. Good service.

I love Panda North. Every time I visit Vermont I stop by for lunch or dinner. At today's visit we shared the Duck with Pine nuts and the Shredded Beef. Both were very good. The Duck is a particular favorite. And of course we started out with Pan Fried Dumplings. They are outrageous. The staff there is always pleasant and attentive. All in all a great place to eat.

We stopped there by chance on the way back from further north and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the lunch specials Tangerine Beef and the House Chicken. Both were excellent as was the hot & sour soup that came with them. Two meals, excluding tip, was $20 – they may not be the least expensive in that area, but the food was worth every penny.

This is literally the best Chinese place in the entire town and always has been. We always get exceptional service... Except this last time we went hence why I gave four stars instead of five.. our waitress wearing black Nike sneakers with a little lady who is bitter and angry and mean.. just like I want my Chinese old ladies.. not how I want my waitress. I accidentally spilled my water onto my boyfriend's lap. She saw it and said our food would be out soon, and walked away ???? she made him sit in a puddle of water until the girl filling up the water saw it and got him some napkins.
