“We haven’t stayed here but we were looking for places that were open to eat in the area we had an Airbnb and the restaurant here was open so we decided to check it out. We ate here last night & it was one of the best meals we have ever had! Service was impeccable. Food was incredible. We had no idea they had been open for only 2 weeks, we would have never known unless someone there hadn’t told us. Everything went to seamlessly. My husband had the NY Strip and said it was one of the best steaks he had eaten and I got a special which was goat cheese gnocchi. Insane. Also, their chocolate cake dessert was amazing!!!! Will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Vermont!”

“We had a fabulous time at the inn. Everyone was so friendly, rooms were comfortable and big, loved the Jacuzzi bathtub. After a busy day of snowshoeing, tubing and snowmobiling, we kicked up our feet and enjoyed the warm fire in the sitting area. Another great option at the inn was the privilege of using the Hermitage Club amenities. Lots to do. We highly recommend staying at the inn.”

“We are so happy that Betsey rebuilt after the fire. Our first time back in the new building was like coming home again. My husband loves breakfast at Betsey's Dots. He usually has a crazy pancake concoction. I love the chili, BLTs, or turkey club (with real turkey). You know it's your lucky day if Dot Pockets are on the specials menu”

“Located in front on the main base lodge. The waffle cabin is very convenient and tasty. It is a bit over priced, but what do you expect when you are at a ski resort and in the middle of nowhere. I have been there so many times it is worth the wait and the $5 for the waffle. They are so sweet and crunchy but also very soft. I can't wait to go back”

“This review is mostly for the super nice bartender who let us spend the day hanging out and enjoying the view of the mountain. My friend and I were joining a larger group but we were not taking part in skiing or snowboarding and needed a place to hang out. We found seats in the bar area and the bartender greeted us and told us we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted. We stayed the whole day reading our books and drinking cocktails. Later our friends joined us and we stayed for a late lunch. The food was all very good especially the grilled cheese.”

“The summit restaurant is less than adequate. We made reservations 2 weeks in advance and showed 20 minutes early to wait by the bar. 40 minutes later we watched a family show up and immediately get seated. When we called attention to the host he apologized and seated us only to wait an hour for any food to come out. Mind you we immediately ordered the specials upon being seated. Overpriced, inattentive waitstaff and decent food at best.”

“The Food was great. However the whole town doesn't seem to be very welcoming to tourist which is odd because the tourist industry is what fuels the economy here. For instance the waitress was very cold, distant to my son and I, she made us feel like we were a burden to her for even being there. Not even a thank you for your business or a goodbye or anything from anyone in the restaurant even though they all looked at us putting on our coats and walking past them all to leave, even the manager.”

“Great time! There are really two sides to this place. 1. A sit down area for a nice quiet dinner. Make reservations for that area ahead of time. 2. The bar area... This is where we went. Bar was good sized and there was several pool tables, darts and ping pong. We showed up with 3 family's and kids in two. They were very accommodating to us all and the food was great. Definitely will be back.”
