Roma's Butchery

Wonderful local butcher with a modest sandwich board. They're new after Fox and Harrow left, so we finally stopped in on a Sunday. It was quiet, with a steady stream of customers.

My lunch was a handmade brat, amazing flavor, on a pretzel bun. Carlynne had her regular bacon cheese burger, and the medium rare was spot on, with a flavor that puts the even the best chains to shame.

All their meats and product are completely local. This is where you want to stop for a genuine meal that won't break the bank.. We found they'll be doing rib roasts for Christmas, and they have steaks, burger, brats, and lots of pork cuts everyday.

They started out small, just a butcher shop. Now they do AMAZING lunches from 11-3. They might seem pricy, but for all local ingredients (some from their own farm!), its worth every penny. Just had my first lunch today. Roast beef and kimchee, side of their own baked beans. It was nothing less than amazing.

Liz Roma has a passion for preparing meats and more... We enjoy the
'Daily Grind" of fresh ground beef, offal, rabbit, huge pork chops, unique Asian style rib cuts, pasture raised chicken and healthy dog and cat treats. We are so lucky to have such a incredibly skilled and beautiful lady butcher!

Lucky and fortunate to have this shop in town. Friendly service and she will cut to order.
