Twisted Biscuit

Finally got to try this food truck over the weekend as they were located at a nearby apartment complex on a Sunday morning/early afternoon. I opted for the lunch menu and chose the Dirty Bird with cajun fries. The fries were sidewinders (curly in shape but thicker than a normal fry) and nicely seasoned. The sandwich was a fried chicken breast with bacon gravy, pimento cheese, and housemade pickles on a biscuit. It was fantastic! All of the components were good individually, but came together to make one impressive sandwich. We ate the combo for lunch; it was so filling we didn't eat the rest of the day. I'm already looking forward to another visit. Really want to try the scones (they were already sold out when we arrived) and a biscuit covered in bacon gravy. Bacon gravy isn't seen much, most places serve sausage gravy. I got a taste on the Dirty Bird and would opt for the BBG if ordering breakfast. What a great addition to the local food truck scene!
