From the outside it really does look sketchy, but when you go inside it looks so much better! The food was delicious. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they don't have everything on the menu. Other than that it was really good.

TL;DR: This place is a hidden gem and well worth the trip, with great food, great service, and an eclectic feel that will make you smile.

The outside looks, admittedly, worn down, run down, and fairly creepy. The entry drive is destroyed and hell on your vehicle at speed - use caution. The signage looks like it's been untouched since the late 80s. But ignore all that, because you're here for the food.

The inside is weird, hands down. Traditional art and decor of the far east highlight the walls, complete with the pagoda sort of roofing over the bar area. The single dining space is defined by the nature mural at the far end which is enhanced by multiple taxidermied deer and fowl. Odd, but interesting. An obvious karaoke setup takes the other wall; no pop jams when we were there, but country hits instead. Again, eclectic.

The food.....is amazing. Decode the menu and realize you have Korean and Chinese dishes separated. Their miso soup was, hands down, the best I've ever had, and I try it everywhere I can. Between the kimchi, lo mein, glass noodles, and meat combinations, everyone will find something for them. They're short on drink options but they leave a water pitcher at your table; food has long spice, so that's handy.

Service was stellar start to end. No real language barriers as some might expect, and I always stick with the tried and true "point to it on the menu and butcher the pronunciation anyway" American style of ordering. The food was slower than a lot of places but absolutely worth it - you can tell it was cooked right then. Sharing plates are passed around, and half the food comes in sharing/community dishes anyway. Enjoy tasting everything. End of the meal is very luxurious by any standards. They box up your food tableside while you munch on a very soothing, cool piece of watermelon. Very nice touch. The older woman who served us was sweet, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy that we enjoyed our meal.

Overall, this place is now a family favorite. We plan to try all their Korean dishes, and I could live on their miso. Bang for your buck is exceptional, as well. Huge portions for low prices.

Go here. Take a risk and have the adventure. You won't regret it.

So I give this place a five star... get passed the look of the building and she only offers water, hot tea and soda ... we have eaten a lot of Korean food all over Virginia and other states , this was the best we have ever eaten. The flavors were amazing and the service was awesome! Definitely need to try

One of those overlooked culinary gems! The menu is a fusion of Asian cuisines, but stick with the Korean end and you'll be quite happy with the result. Doesn't look like much on the outside, nor the inside, but who cares? The food was great and little old lady waiting on us was so sweet and kind. Had the chicken bibimbap and loved every bite! So sad I didn't stop off there sooner.
