The Mill Room

Splendid new renovations. Good food, excellent service, well trained staff.

the mill room has been one of my favorite restaurants in the area for several decades. They've recently rented the inside and it's an absolutely beautiful change. It's brighter but still has that old Mill feel. The food is still exceptional. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. It's always a wonderful experience. I will say that I missed The lunch buffet that they used to have. I'm hoping that they bring it back because I'm not sure I will go back for lunch with the buffet gone.

This was our first time dining in the "reimagined" Mill Room. It is definitely different than it used to be, so don't come there looking for the Old Mill Room. The atmosphere was good, waitstaff was very friendly and sufficiently attentive. The food was excellent, locally sourced, and very flavorful. If I had a "complaint" it would be that the time between our appetizers and entrees felt a little long. I didn't time it, it just felt that way. This was only their second weekend after reopening, so there's still a few kinks to work out, but nothing that would keep me from going back. Enjoy!
