The Clifton

Beautiful amenities, good food, strong drinks, excellent service, very relaxing.

Great hotel and restaurant but terrible for an indoor wedding venue unless your guest list is under 100. We were lied to by Clifton management at the beginning that they could comfortably accommodate a reception of 150 people indoors. It would have been impossible but good weather in March saved the day since the entire cocktail hour had to be moved outdoors at the last minute. Also an unexpected management change 10 days before the wedding completely caught us off guard. Some members of the new team were very professional and others were not. I would give the reception 4 stars. The planning process with The Clifton was a 1 especially near the end.
On a positive note, the place is beautiful, the food fantastic, and the staff and service were lovely. No qualms about Clifton as a hotel and restaurant!

Cute Little inn. The suite was very nice and the staff was friendly. However there is an odor that permeated certain parts of the main house that came and went. Could be a septic tank that needs maintenance. Great food too!
