“This place has true quality and care! The calamari is the best I've ever had, definitely fresh & hand breaded with a homemade marinara. The stuffed mushroom caps had a very generous amount of crab and not a bunch of mystery-filler, greatly appreciated. The white wine mussels were cooked perfectly and the of course we soaked up as much sauce as we could with the fresh out of the oven baguette. Wine selections were excellent. Our service was incredibly friendly and the visit from Mama Stella, owner, was the cherry on top. Will definitely be putting Carmello's on the top of my list for regular visits. Oh and leave room for the cheesecake!”

“We have Hardee's in Maryland, but they do not come close to the Boddie Noell franchise stores, which have a more extensive menu (and they are much friendlier in the South, too). They were having a bad day (call outs forced them to rely on trainees), but the manager did a great job of holding it together, and the food was great. There was a minor misunderstanding with the order, but the manager more than made up for it. She looked like she could use some kind words, so I made sure to tell her how great the food was. It looked like I brightened up her day, just like she brightened up mine!”

“We walked over to grab a bite to eat while we waited on our windshield to get fixed next door. The food was pretty good and the waitress was nice but it took 45 minutes to get our food. We were the ONLY people there and when the waitress tried to explain, she said that the cook left and they had no one cooking food. We probably would have left and wouldn't have been so understanding had we not had to wait on our windshield being fixed anyway. Not sure we will make a special trip to visit again though.”
