The Executive Diner

Wow! First timer. What a fantastic place within walking distance. I actually walked here during snow showers. The food was worth it. Items ordered included one lemonade, one veggie omelette with extra cheese and a side of home fries, and a chicken fried steak meal that came with home fries and toast (two hefty pieces of steak)YUM! The home fries are actually chunks of potato. Savory and delicious. Neither meal was finished so some to take home is always nice. All that for about $33. There are so many good menu options I was torn between (such as the waffle and chicken, and the executive platter). Great service and decorative touches. Until next time :)

Have been twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were very good. I ordered two eggs any style with cheese, a fruit bowl and toast along with a plain waffle. For dinner I tried the Creole Shrimp Scampi. I enjoyed both and will definitely be visiting again.

This place is such a pleasant surprise. Far more than your typical diner, Executive offers a truly diverse menu of options (gyros, crab cakes, country fried steak, salmon benedicts, grilled salads), with more homemade/scratch-made items (gravy, veggie burgers, dressings, etc.) than most diners. The decor is tastefully minimal and the service is prompt. Prices are on the higher end for a typical "diner", but this is Old Town.

It was a nice place. Clean. No complaints. Food was pretty good. I just thought it wasn't 5 star level.

Great food and service. I had the chicken and waffle, which was delicious. Their sausage gravy is pretty awesome. Shout out to my server, Mike, who was friendly and checked on us frequently. Also plenty of parking available.
