The service and food were both good. It was a bit cold in the restaurant though. I noticed most of the people kept their jackets on and I shouldn't have left mine in the car. It's a cozy place so the tables are pretty close together. It's a place I would go to agian when I'm back in the area.
Like something out of a time machine. It is a place where they know the names of the regulars and appeals to people appreciate casual comfort food. The food was good but this about dining in the past. The only miss is they should serve breakfast all day as it seems to be the specialty.
One of my favorites. Was afraid the customer service would change when Yates took over, but it hasn’t. Great place for a cheap breakfast with good customer service.
Always great food, large portion size. Because of the culture they don't seem to fawn over you, so don't be disturbed that the server didn't come to your table a lot. They actually allow you to enjoy your meal. As I always do!
My family and I were visiting Washington D.C. and decided to pay a visit to Alexandria for Small Business Saturday. Needing breakfast, we consulted the internet and found the Table Talk Restaurant. What a great decision it was to go there! The server was friendly and efficient; the food was delicious and arrived quickly from the kitchen and the ambiance in the restaurant was very inviting. To top it off, I found I had a dead battery in my car when we went to leave. After learning AAA would take 1 - 3 hours to arrive, I went back inside and sought assistance. One of the Managers, John, quickly and graciously offered his help. He pulled his car next to mine and, after just a few seconds of using jumper cables, my car started right up. John, and his team, could not have been nicer. When back in The D.C. area, we will not hesitate to pay another visit to the Table Talk restaurant. What a gem!
