1)Been here multiple times over the years. Every food item that i have ever ordered here has always been delicious.
2)The décor and inside is clean with nice lighting and ambiance, however I think it can be probably improved upon.
3)It's a good place to have office lunches with coworkers and peers.
4)They have a nice bar area.
5)Their staff is very friendly.
My family and I love Thai food, and we have been to many Thai restaurants across the globe, including several in Bangkok and Phuket. Pasara Thai Restaurant is one of our favorites. We have eaten at Pasara several times, and we will continue to make our way there - - especially for the galangal soup. Other dishes are also excellent, including the Pad Thai. We tried a Zagat-rated Thai restaurant in Arlington, but we like Pasara better. The decor is nice, service is good, and the prices are reasonable. Kingstowne has some amazing restaurants. Right next to Pasara is Aditi, a superb Indian restaurant.
The food was good particularly because it was a busy night and ingredients tasted very fresh. I'm a regular here and I've had some off nights where quality of the food is not the same. However, I will say 35 minutes of wait post ordering without any updates throughout the process was a bit painful I wish they'd communicate a little better. Lastly, charging as much for an extra egg as you would for extra beef is a bit absurd, the pricing for extra toppings needs to be revamped.
The food was really good. It arrived very quickly and tasted fantastic. We arrived at the lunch rush and still didnt have to wait to be seated and the food arrived really fast. I had the Pad broccoli chicken and it was great.
The lunch portions are small and the quality is average for the DC area given the prices. I've been many times and have had many things on the menu. Good for a quick bite, but not so good for value of money
