Live Oak Restaurant

Dear old friends from out of state came to visit for the first time, so we needed someplace great to take them to eat. Live Oak impressed all of us. Service was spectacular, the food was fantastic, delicious, and filling. Southern hospitality at its finest.

The atmosphere was great for visiting with friends. Easy to carry on a conversation with everyone.

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Perfect environment and delicious food. Awesome service from the moment we walked in. Will definitely return when visiting the city again! Proud to say my daughter works in such a nice place and is part of the excellent service team!!

Visited during Restaurant Week, orders from special menu, service was quick and on point, however my steak was cold way to cold, it was returned and fixed, however it's hard to get back your appetite after a cold and bloody steak. Fried green tomatoes were excellent but missing a sauce. The grits, the grits are delicious and I would recommend them to anyone. Nice place, quick service.

Easily the best place in town to grab drinks, have an amazing meal, and be around some super friendly staff. They have consistently gone out of their way for me every time, no matter what's going on. Chef Chis does an incredible job smoking the different meats, to creating fantastic new dishes. I highly recommend the Buffalo Cheeks.

Food here was great. Fresh ingredients, well executed. Wine by the glass was also good but limited. Server was nice as well. Would definitely go back. This place exceeded expectations.
