Fiance and I stopped by late last year...had a wonderful meal. It was a weeknight and we barely made it before closing...everyone was more than accommodating...I highly recommend for a quaint southern meal
Great, low key place on King Street. The food was good (4 stars), the service was okay (3. 5 stars) and the atmosphere is upscale, quiet and personal (4 stars). The menu is small and chef was unwilling to accommodate any special requests, but the food did come out well. Expect to spend approx $60 plus/pp with drinks.
Food, staff and atmosphere was wonderful. A little hidden gem in Old Town, I am sure I walked by the place and did not even realized that this place was there. Also try the bacon wrapped stuffed dates, they are really good!
This restaurant offered beyond excellent service. I've never been treated so well at a rest in my 30 years of living. The service was exception from the moment we walked in the door. We ended up having more people coming to dinner than originally planned and the manager made beautiful accommodations for us to sit together. The chef personally came.up stairs to our table and gave us the specials. Our waiter was poised and beyond polite to the point of genuinely being friendly. The food was absolutely fire. There were 6 of us and we all had something a little different, absolutely EVERY BIT OF FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND HAND CRAFTED TO OUR DESIRES. The food was prepared well in a very reasonable amount of time and was delivered as soon as each dish was ready. We all had our food within 10 minutes of each other. After dinner the chef, a former Columbus Ohio Resident and Dallas Cowboys fan, personally brought us all slices of strawberry cheesecake on the house. We girls are always going out to eat together and this place offered hands down the best service we've ever received. Normally you get the food and the service is almost secondary this time the service was beyond measures of excellence and the measures of deliciousness, defined as- the complexity and the complementarity of each dish- was enhanced by the service.
Terrific service and great food in a charming historic facility. We happened to be in the area for Restaurant Week and were able to get in before an unusual 10 party group. My pork chop with sweet potato was excellent as was the cheesecake dessert. My wife and daughter enjoyed the salmon.
