“The setting is very nice. Nice furniture and tables, which replaced the convenience store that was once in that location across from the King Street metro station. (BUT) A cup of coffee at 7-Eleven is just as good, if not better, where I have a broader selection of the flavored creams and sugars I desire. At FFC, the taste didn't do much for me. It's just pricey coffee.”

“They only had one person working but he did a fantastic job. There is currently a work site with over 100 construction workers across the street, and that added to the numerous apartment buildings, made for a busy morning. He was slammed at 0630AM and handled it like a pro. This is the best Dunkin shop in the area. Yes, they are always out of some menu items but it is a high volume store. Everything is as fresh as Dunkin allows and there is so much product going out that you never have to worry about anything sitting.”

“Went to the Bistro today. It was a Cute... Romantic... Comfortable setting. I loved that you could see into the open kitchen from wherever you were seated. The little details was fabulous. There was a wonderful selection of beverages from coffee and tea, to Mimosas and cocktails. My Cubana sandwich with the salad greens were perfect. My companions also enjoyed they're breakfast items as well. Of course the dessert counter that greeted us when walked in the door caught our attention, almost as fast as the wine fridge. It even had outdoor seating for warm weather. We were able to find on street parking close by. Everyone was courtesy and friendly. Looking forward to visiting this cozy establishment again.”

“First time at a Dunkin Donuts in Virginia. On my walk to work this morning around 8am, I stopped by for a mixed dozen. Just under $12. Co-workers enjoyed them. I had a glazed donut which is my favorite. It was delicious. Friendly staff and the service was fast. In and out in less than 2 minutes or so. The inside was clean and smelled good. Happy day”

“In a pinch, I stop here to get a quick cup of joe. They have about 4 varieties and as far as I can tell only one cup size. $2.32. Pretty good spot for other things on the menu. A man named Hemanta (I think) is always hard at work. Also Quiznos is in the same building called Randolph Eatery. #convenient Edit: February 5, 2019 - I came in around 130pm and was craving breakfast. “I stopped by for the first time because it's walking distance to work. When I walked in I was immediately aware that it is more than I expected (and not having Googled it beforehand). I was happy with the selection on the menu and on display. Had I not been trying to eat "healthy" that meal I would have chosen something tastier. I chose a Green Goddess half salad for about $7. The sauce was good and the salad was satisfying. I'd try other menu items for sure. Edit: Feb 4, 2019. I did in fact come back for a full Green Goddess salad; however they forgot to include the avocado (photos attached). I was sad and confused when I got back to work, having foolishly left the store without checking the order. My trust is diminished.”

“Service in late afternoon felt obligatory; but polite. Ordered their equivalent of a caramel macchiato, which was made with caramel-flavored beverage syrup, had tastes of artificial flavoring. Condiment bar had powdered non-dairy creamer, white sugar, and saccharine packets–plus a nutmeg shaker. If you need more sophisticated (or low-glycemic) options, a better choice would be the coffee bar at Whole Foods or any Starbucks. Extra points for having a beverage cooler with canned & bottled drinks, plus an ample display of protein bars and other grab-and-go items. A good variety of locally-produced baked goods is also available. As previously mentioned, there is a $5 minimum purchase for plastic transactions. This is yet another example of how a mom-and-pop store disappoints overall and why chain restaurants won't be going away anytime soon.”

“Panera us a growing chain with great pastries, healthy food selections, in addition to the traditional breakfast and lunch selections. I usually go for a quick breakfast, and suggest you join the rewards program. Lots of good and money saving special offers, and a free birthday cookie! The coffee is better than McDonalds, with more creamers and choices. While you do pick up your food at the counter - and bus your own table, I have not found it inconvenient, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is free, and there is handicapped parking.”

“Consider the nature of a fast food restaurant as a transient space. People cycling in and out as quickly as the deep fryer will allow, attempting to consume their food with as much as haste as it was made. No one lingering to talk with the neighbors or greet the crew with more than a "good day." This has been my experience with McDonald's restaurants until dining at this particular location on Duke Street. First, I was taken in by the truly thoughtful customer service of the crew. They greeted me with smiles and were swift to take recourse when they accidentally delayed my order. As if the human connection weren't enough, when I took the time to admire my surroundings, I was amazed by the crisp and clean lines of the building's interior design. It was no wonder that signs were posted asking customers to sit for a maximum of 30 minutes. With an atmosphere like this McDonald's has, who would want to leave? I recommend this location wholeheartedly. On a trip to D.C. to see the White House or the Lincoln Memorial? Make it a point to stop here”
