“Great service along with great pizza!! Always greeted warmly and given quick service. Love the throwback tunes playing and the relaxing atmosphere of this pizza joint. The pizza has always been consistently GIANT and delicious! Love the monthly rotating toppings as well as the garlic mushroom (with hot honey). Definitely give this spot a try if you want an Instagram worthy slice!”

“The best French toast in the DMV! My husband and I had the blueberry cheesecake French toast and the strawberry french toast and they were both so good! Perfect consistency (not soggy or dry like some other places we have been) and the filling is perfect! The portion sizes are good too. We will definitely be back!”

“Carne Asada Tacos and Cheese Papusa!! Excelente. Definitely coming back. Helps to know a little Spanish but not necessary. Meat is marinated and made fresh cooked to order. Great salsa and toppings. I could have split the tacos with someone but I was hungry. I’ll be coming back.”

“Besides it having fresh ingredients, have a great selection and great coffee. The biscuit they make is amazing. It's super soft in the middle with having a nice crust. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful.”

“I went for the handcrafted cocktails but ended up staying for the amazing company of Journeyman and bartender Antwan. I highly recommend trying the sparkling sake - it's rich, tangy, sweet, and has earthy notes that are simply next level. Trust me, you won't regret it!”

“Great new-ish spot in Del Ray! The food and drinks are good but the vibe is even better. Our favorites were the brisket tacos and hifi margarita. Guacamole was also good but a small portion for the price. There is also a great beer selection.”

“This is a very fun, hip, eclectic cocktail lounge. The vintage furniture paired with the lo-fi music and LED makes for an ethereal and memorable experience.”

“I stop in here almost weekly, and the lattes have been great! The first time I went I also had the coffee cake which was really good & soft as well. Even at the end of their day I was greeted with a cheery bonjour and was able to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of a great coffee break. I have to note that on my visit last week I left without being able to order as it seemed as though the one person working was taking out trash and must’ve not seen me & the other gentleman that were perusing the shop…but I’m sure it was just an oversight as I’ve been told that this area can be pretty slow on Tuesday afternoons. Really great coffee, and a really great experience otherwise. Bonne chance! 😀”

“This was our first time at La'baik. The service immediately upon entering was hospitable and spoke to the nature of our overall experience! We ordered the Falafel Pita Shrak Wrap which was so tasty - They are very generous with the toppings btw. Everything was so fresh, and the Tahini sauce was authentic! DO NOT MISS the Fresh Mint Lemonade, it was perfectly refreshing on a hot day. We also had the hummus & pita, and an assortment of Baklava which were all perfection!!! The restaurant itself is super cute with welcoming decor, it has two outside seating areas and the chairs are very comfortable. Can't wait to go back and try their breakfast options!! P.S. don't forget to get the Za'atar Pita Chips ”

“Had a great experience for my brief visit to this gem. I happened to be in the hat store next door when we left and decided to stop for a snack. The owner was very friendly and very engaging with answers we had about his products. He offered us samples of Gelato and explained the ingredients/ tastes of each of the fresh empanadas. We settled on 2 each so we can sample each other’s and we were not disappointed. Nice/ flaky/ buttery crust, well seasoned, and delicious. Worth a visit for lunch or a quick snack on the go.”

“The name and appearance is deceiving. This place is great! I didn’t see any posts or pictures about their pizzas, so I wanted to leave a review. The pizza is the more doughy style but it’s cooked to perfection and really unique toppings. We had the tres amigos pizza. They’re worth trying for sure!”

“I got the chance to make it here for opening day and man oh man is this the place to grab your wings on game day. The location is right off of Richmond Highway Alexandria so very convenient spot. I needed 50 wings for my Sunday Football party. Looked at the menu and 30 flavors to choose from, decided to go with 5 spread across 10 each. Let me tell you these were the crispiest and sauciest wings I've ever had. This place is a hidden gem. Definitely better than the other America's Best Wings around. This is my go to spot for wings going forward.”

“My fiance and I love this place! We frequent it. Alison, the manager, is very accommodating and delightful, and the employees are friendly and fantastic. Scott, the owner, is a great guy too. We love to grab a glass of wine and sit and people watch. The offerings in the store are very special, gourmet and unique. The freshly baked brownies are outrageously delicious. They also have a newer location in Old Town that I would recommend.”

“Wonderful experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food. The homemade biscuit and gravy or honey butter absolutely must be tried. I'd order that as a meal next time! The homemade key lime pie was to die for. Majority of the group didn't care for the potato side, one of them saying the potatoes were not cooked through, so I took off a star. Otherwise, the food got a round of thumbs up. The price was fair for the view and dining experience - good for a vacation brunch just once, but not somewhere to go for frugal eating.”

“The service was fantastic. The view was even better. The drinks and appetizers, we had the charcuterie board, we're also great. For the most part the meals.were good too with one exception. All of them eggs were overcooked. We had 2 different Benedict plates and another meal had over easy eggs. The poached eggs were more soft boiled and not remotely runny and the over easy eggs were cooked through. Aside from that, the omelets were good, the hangover sandwich was great and the French Toast bread pudding was delicious.”

“A traditional Italian place in old town. There are several but this one is by far my favorite. The food was awesome and the servers are very friendly. There's also a live pianist on the weekends. I feel like I could eat the pasta here every day of my life. Be warned, the service is a little slow. But that's not a bad thing. It's all a part of the vibe. So don't come for a quick meal, come for a long and good time.”

“Had an amazing dinner here. The service was superb, the atmosphere was old world, and the food was delicious. We sampled several of the appetizers and a few of the salads. Salmon and trout for the main course and then a special dish of vegetables and different variety of beans for a vegan option. Looking forward to returning for a special event in November. Highly recommend if you’re in the area stop by at the bar for a drink or enjoy a delicious dinner and one of the several dining areas.”

“Kismet Modern Indian is one of my favorite Indian cuisine restaurants in Alexandria. In a quaint modern space off King Street in Old Town with an impressive menu of staples and twist on Indian staples. We were promptly seated for a dinner reservation and there is paid street parking nearby. The staff is attentive and when I visit in person I am generally always visited by the manager on duty at the table. They truly care about your experience at the restaurant. The food is always good - I have yet to have a dish that I did not like. The atmosphere of the restaurant has moderate lively noise because of the space. I recommend a visit! Prices are $$-$$$ depending on menu items ordered.”

“Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, all around great experience! We've been here a few times and we always enjoy ourselves. We normally sit at the bar which is in a cozy little offshoot away from the main dining room. The steaks we've gotten have always been cooked to perfection. The bartenders are always on point making delicious drinks that are served with style. I always recommend the 1799 Smoked Manhattan for any whiskey fans that we bring here. Best place for steak and drinks in Old Town!”

“Our visit to Elaine's restaurant was truly remarkable. From the moment we stepped inside until we departed, the owner and staff provided exceptional service, making us feel like VIPs. The delightful blend of Mediterranean and Egyptian flavors in both the drinks and food was truly outstanding. I wholeheartedly endorse this charming, family-owned establishment.”

“A Memorable Dining Experience at Mystic BBQ & Grill My recent visit to Mystic BBQ & Grill was an absolute delight from start to finish. The experience began with two incredible appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes topped with lump crab and drizzled with a tangy lemon-habanero comeback sauce, and the Gumbo Ya YA, featuring wood-grilled chicken and andouille sausage. The lemon-habanero sauce perfectly enhanced the flavor of the crispy fried green tomatoes, adding a zesty kick that was simply divine. The Gumbo Ya YA transported me straight to New Orleans with its authentic taste and rich, flavorful broth. Both appetizers were fresh and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we enjoyed the Jumbo Lump Crab Sandwich and the Mystic Baby Back Ribs. The Jumbo Lump Crab Sandwich was outstanding, with generous portions of crab and minimal filler, complemented beautifully by crisp lettuce and a flavorful Florida mustard sauce. The Mystic Baby Back Ribs were another highlight – tender, expertly seasoned, and lightly coated with a delectable BBQ sauce that didn't overpower the meat's natural flavors. The staff at Mystic BBQ & Grill were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was pleasant and laid-back, perfect for a relaxing meal. The restaurant was clean and bright, further enhancing our dining experience. Overall, Mystic BBQ & Grill exceeded our expectations in every way. From the fresh, flavorful dishes to the welcoming ambiance and top-notch service, it’s a place I’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended!”

“5 Stars ⭐️ all the way!!!! Welcome to Old Town and thank you for bringing deliciously spicy tasty food to town! The service was amazing 😍, where they were super attentive to make sure you’re happy! And the owners are super friendly! Bollywood Masala is going to be my go to spot! Tons of variety with staying true to flavor! They, as of now is serving one red and one white wine, I had the red. I have to say I’m super picky with wine and the one wine they have, they have done it right! The wine is sourced from India! And their cocktails are special, why? They infused it with Indian spices ! It’s delicious 🤤! Welcome to Old Town! And to much success!”

“This is a great place to get a sandwich right off the Alexandria waterfront. My group was walking from Jone’s Park to the south along the waterfront and decided to get a meal. There are many choices for food in the Alexandria city proper and a few right along the water. As you can tell from it’s name, this is a sandwich shop in the corridor of a larger building. It has windows along both sides of the store making it very light and bright inside the store. Seating is limited with only a small bar with about 4 seats at the back. We chose to sit by the public tables near waterfront park. You order at the counter closest to the door. The menu is located on the back wall behind the counter and is a set of sandwiches ranging in price from about $11 to $13. I got the Roast beef and Blue sandwich. The food was prepared as we waited and was ready within about 10 minutes. It was one of the best sandwiches I have had with good bread, excellent roast beef and real crumbles. The store was clean. The staff was nice and it was a pleasant experience. Overall, I plan to visit here again to try more of their sandwiches. I hope you will too.”

“Excellent brewery and nothing better than a slice of Andy's pizza to go with your beer! A fun and comfortable space to hang out with a nice outdoor patio as well that is nicely shaded in the evening. It was especially fun to visit on opening day and it was great to see it quite busy.”
