“My first trip to the Briar Patch Restaurant was with my middle son; who had been playing a baseball game at a nearby high school. I found it on Trip Advisor, but wasn't completely sold on going there. So we both agreed that we would do a drive-by; just to check it out. It was such a charming little restaurant with lovely curb appeal, that we did an immediate U-turn. They have a cozy little covered front porch; complete with rocking chairs, that reminds you of a family home. The vestibule is decorated with whimsical bunnies, tastly scattered across the check-in area. The restaurant is surprisingly large and the seats are quite comfortable. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The wait staff were wonderful; which is a gem in and of itself. I was quite pleased. Since our first visit, I have been wanting to share this little find with my mother and daughter. Last evening, I convinced them to allow me to drive them out for supper. I found the food, atmosphere, and service to be just as impeccable as I had remembered it. My mother, daughter, youngest son and myself enjoyed a wonderful supper together, and I am certain that we will not only be back very soon, but continue to share it with family and friends.”

“My favorite Hardee's and favorite place to get breakfast! The employees and managers work very hard; they're so sweet and welcoming. Medium drinks for only a dollar and the milkshakes here are better than the other Hardee's locations. They use the perfect amount of syrup and milk. One of the busiest places in Amherst and one of the best!”

“We found this place by accident and we are so glad we did. They have a outside seating area where they serve food and alcohol, beware you can also smoke out there. The inside is broken up into 2 sections, a bar area and a restaurant type area. The bar area has a couple of booths and some tables as well as 3 tvs. Our server was very good and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a fried chicken club and a hamburger club with onion rings and french fries a diet Dr. Pepper and a Ice Tea. Our food was very good and we enjoyed our lunch. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back very soon!!”

“Honestly, for THIS location, a three star review is generous. Subway always has good quality food, but this specific subway is a complete hit or miss and it’s usually a miss. I go into this subway regularly and when it’s a hit - it’s great. The staff is super friendly, they’re fast and clean. However, the bad experiences stopped me from going to this location for some time. I’ve had employees that are just plain rude. I had a girl that when they were out of the soup I asked for just give me a different soup in hopes that I wouldn’t notice. That same day, in the checkout line, my sub was somehow mixed up with another woman’s sub in line behind me. I’ve walked in, had employees look at me but not give me any acknowledgement, walk away, and come back quite some time later. (I work in food service. I get if you’re busy doing something in the back and need a moment, but acknowledge your customers.) I’ve walked in and the entire restaurant is empty, but every last table is dirty and the employees are just standing around. I stopped going to this location for about three months due to these issues, rather taking the drive to Wards Road instead. My most recent experience was in the last week and has been positive and that’s why I choose to give this three stars instead of lower. The restaurant was clean. They were well staffed and the employees were friendly and professional. I HOPE that the issues in this location have been resolved and I can improve the review even further.”

“I had coupons and needed a quick lunch for my family. I was truly surprised, as i am not a huge Roast beef fan . I used 2 coupons so that the four of us could have the same things. I got 4 beef and cheddar, 4 small curly fries, 4 chicken sliders, and 6 mozzarella cheese sticks- all for under $23.00 including the tax.when i arrived home the food was still warm and packaged nicely. The Roast beef was tender and the bun soft, added the Arby Sauce and very tasty. The Chicken sliders were crispy and had melted cheese on them. The curly fries were the seasoned ones, and the cheese sticks were crispy on the outside with soft mozzarella cheese on the inside. I was definitely pleased as we all enjoyed our lunch.”
